Early life
Mazar was born in Jamaica, Queens, New York, the daughter of Nancy and Harry Mazar. Her father was born in the Latvian SSR, Soviet Union, of Jewish ancestry, but raised in the Roman Catholic Church. She had no knowledge of this ancestral ethnic heritage until her twenties. Her mother was raised a Roman Catholic, briefly converted to Judaism, then became a Buddhist, and later joined Jehovah's Witnesses until she was excommunicated for taking a blood transfusion.
Career
Mazar began her career as a hip hop b-girl in New York City. Her first television appearance was on the pilot for a hip hop television dance show, Graffiti Rock in 1984. She appeared in five of Madonna's music videos - "Papa Don't Preach", "True Blue" (both 1986), "Justify My Love" (1990), "Deeper and Deeper" (1992) and "Music" (2000). Mazar has played a number of minor-yet-colorful supporting roles in a variety of movies, including: as Sandy, Henry Hill's girl on the side in GoodFellas (1990); The Doors (1991); Bullets Over Broadway (1994); and as Spice (of Sugar and Spice, with Drew Barrymore as Sugar) in Batman Forever (1995). She gained her first real following from playing a character on Civil Wars in the early 90s. When that show was cancelled her character was brought over as a recurring role in the 1993 - 1994 season of the TV drama L.A. Law.
She played the villain Regina, a modern-day Cruella de Vil in the popular family film Beethoven's 2nd (1993). She has appeared in independent films like Inside Monkey Zetterland and Nowhere but has also dabbled in mainstream attempts like Batman Forever, and her short-lived sitcom, Temporarily Yours. (The sitcom was about a woman who, in an attempt to get a good apartment in New York City, lies about being employed with a temp agency and then shows up at the agency begging for work.) She also appeared as the genie in the Space Monkeys' video, "Sugarcane".
Mazar appeared on a Friends episode in its eighth season ("The One Where Rachel Has a Baby, Part One"). Mazar played "Doreen, the Evil Bitch," a crazed pregnant woman who shares a hospital room with Rachel. From 2000–2002 she played "Jackie" on the television drama That's Life. She also provided the voice of Maria Latore in the video games Grand Theft Auto III (2001) and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004).
Currently, she is in a supporting actress role on Entourage, an original comedy series on HBO. She also had a recurring role on the sitcom Living with Fran, playing Fran Drescher's character's cousin, Merrill. She also did a stint on the television series Ugly Betty, where she plays Leah Stillman, a scam artist who claims to be a lawyer in a number of episodes.
Mazar was a contestant on the ninth season of Dancing With the Stars. She was partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy[3] and finished in 12th place. She was eliminated in the 3rd week (October 6, 2009). Mazar guest stars in some episodes of the Disney Channel's original series called Jonas L.A.

Early life
Born on September 22, 1984 in Toronto,Ontario, Canada, Vandervoort was involved in several sports such as football, karate, basketball, tennis, gymnastics, and baseball. Entering karate at age seven, she earned a second degree Black Belt from Northern Karate Schools by the age of 16.
After taking several classes and doing background work on Canadian shows such as Road to Avonlea and Harriet the Spy, she got her first speaking role in Canadian children's series Goosebumps (three episodes) and Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
Career
After commercials and guest-starring roles on Mutant X, Prom Queen, Twice in a Lifetime, Doc, Sue Thomas: F.B.Eye, Troubled Waters, The Dresden Files, and a few Disney TV movies (Mom's Got a Date with a Vampire, and Alley Cats Strike), at age 19 Vandervoort landed a lead role as Sadie Harrison on the CTV television series Instant Star, which ran for four seasons.
In 2006, Vandervoort shot her first feature titled The Lookout with Jeff Daniels, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Matthew Goode, and Isla Fisher. Several other TV appearances such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation led Vandervoort to the role of Clark Kent's Kryptonian cousin "Kara Kent" (the woman destined to become Supergirl) on the CW series Smallville. She was a regular in season seven, and appeared in the "Bloodline" episode for season eight. She then returned for another episode called 'Supergirl' in the 10th and final season of Smallville..
Following the CW and Smallville, Vandervoort then shot the sequel to the feature film Into the Blue titled Into the Blue 2: The Reef. She next filmed an independent production titled The Jazzman, which also starred Canadian stars Michael Ironside (who appeared in the second V mini-series as well as the 1984 V regular series) and Corey Sevier.
Vandervoort currently portrays "Lisa," an extraterrestrial Visitor, in the 2009 ABC series V, a reboot of the 1980s science fiction franchise of the same name.
In 2010 Vandervoort appeared in the two-part miniseries Riverworld in which she plays Jessie Machalan, the fiancée of war correspondent Matt Ellman who wakes up after death on a planet populated by everyone who has ever lived on Earth.[4] It as also been announced on her official website that Laura has been attached in a feature film called Entitled, which also stars Ray Liotta and Kevin Zegers. During her appearance at San Diego Comic-Con in 2010, it was confirmed that she will be returning to Smallville in season ten's third episode (entitled "Supergirl", to air in October 2010).

Early and Personal life
Born Samantha Harris Shapiro in Hopkins, Minnesota her late father, Richard Shapiro, was a rock 'n' roll promoter; and her mother, Bonnie Harris Shapiro, was a dancer. In 1972, the two founded one of the country's first renaissance festivals, King Richard's Faire, which continues to this day.
On September 23, 2007, Harris gave birth to her daughter Josselyn Sydney Hess and missed the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars for season five. She returned on October 15, 2007. Drew Lachey, winner of season two, filled in for the first three weeks of competition while Harris was out.
Harris had a Jewish upbringing and received her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, graduating with honors in 1996, where she was also a member of the Delta Gamma sorority .
On the August 17, 2010 edition of Entertainment Tonight, Samantha announced that she and her husband, Michael Hess are expecting their second child in January 2011.
On January 19, 2011, Harris delivered the couple's second daughter, Hillary Madison Hess.
TV hosting
As of December 16, 2008, Harris joined The Insider as a substitute host and correspondent.
Previously, Harris was a correspondent with E! Entertainment Television's E! News, and host of THS Investigates. In addition to writing, producing and reporting daily for E! News, she co-hosted the network's live award-show coverage for the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys. She has also appeared as a special correspondent on Good Morning America.
Prior to joining E!, Harris served as a weekend co-host for the infotainment show Extra, where she interviewed hundreds of celebrities and served as an anchor for the show's Las Vegas bureau.
Her most recent hosting job was for Dancing with the Stars along with Tom Bergeron. She took over in 2006 for Lisa Canning.
Her other hosting credits include Fox's The Next Joe Millionaire and AMC Access (the short-lived spinoff of Access Hollywood produced for AMC). Additionally, she also served as a guest co-host on The View.
Harris also got to host a week of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire shows on May 11–15, 2009.
Harris announced on January 28, 2010 that she would be leaving Dancing with the Stars to focus on other projects like her correspondent duties at The Insider and Entertainment Tonight.Season 7 champion Brooke Burke replaced Harris as co-host in the spring 2010 season.
Acting work
Her acting credits include Eric Idle Exploits Monty Python, D3: The Mighty Ducks, Drop Dead Gorgeous (non speaking) Surviving Gilligan's Island, Reefer Madness!, The New "Hit" Musical (original cast), Beautiful, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and others. Also on Palmer's cocoa butter commercial.
Samantha made her Broadway debut in 2009 as Roxie Hart in Chicago. She performed a six-week engagement in the long-running musical from July 7 through August 16 at the Ambassador Theatre. After her Broadway run, Harris played Roxie in the Greenville, SC, engagement of the national tour, August 18–23, at the Peace Center.

Fox has been involved with actor Brian Austin Green since 2004, having first met on the set of Hope & Faith when she was 18 and he was 30. In 2006 they became engaged, and then broke it off in February 2009. Fox has brachydactyly ("shortness of the fingers and toes"), and has additionally been open about her insecurities and self-harming, acknowledging that she has low self-esteem:

Girls go through different phases when they're growing up, when they're miserable and do different things, whether it's an eating disorder or they dabble in cutting. Fox has a fear of flying; she said she developed this about the time she turned 20. She has had to come up with ways to deal with it in order to avoid having panic attacks when getting onto a plane, most notably by listening to Britney Spears song In addition, she has expressed a distrust of "all boys-slash-men" in general, as well as women in the industry. "I just don’t like them or trust them," stated Fox of her usual feeling toward males. Regarding female friends in Hollywood, she said she does not have many. "I especially don’t trust girls in this industry, because it’s incredibly competitive, and I’m just not interested.
