Early and Personal life
Born Samantha Harris Shapiro in Hopkins, Minnesota her late father, Richard Shapiro, was a rock 'n' roll promoter; and her mother, Bonnie Harris Shapiro, was a dancer. In 1972, the two founded one of the country's first renaissance festivals, King Richard's Faire, which continues to this day.
On September 23, 2007, Harris gave birth to her daughter Josselyn Sydney Hess and missed the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars for season five. She returned on October 15, 2007. Drew Lachey, winner of season two, filled in for the first three weeks of competition while Harris was out.
Harris had a Jewish upbringing and received her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, graduating with honors in 1996, where she was also a member of the Delta Gamma sorority .
On the August 17, 2010 edition of Entertainment Tonight, Samantha announced that she and her husband, Michael Hess are expecting their second child in January 2011.
On January 19, 2011, Harris delivered the couple's second daughter, Hillary Madison Hess.
TV hosting
As of December 16, 2008, Harris joined The Insider as a substitute host and correspondent.
Previously, Harris was a correspondent with E! Entertainment Television's E! News, and host of THS Investigates. In addition to writing, producing and reporting daily for E! News, she co-hosted the network's live award-show coverage for the Oscars, Golden Globes and Emmys. She has also appeared as a special correspondent on Good Morning America.
Prior to joining E!, Harris served as a weekend co-host for the infotainment show Extra, where she interviewed hundreds of celebrities and served as an anchor for the show's Las Vegas bureau.
Her most recent hosting job was for Dancing with the Stars along with Tom Bergeron. She took over in 2006 for Lisa Canning.
Her other hosting credits include Fox's The Next Joe Millionaire and AMC Access (the short-lived spinoff of Access Hollywood produced for AMC). Additionally, she also served as a guest co-host on The View.
Harris also got to host a week of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire shows on May 11–15, 2009.
Harris announced on January 28, 2010 that she would be leaving Dancing with the Stars to focus on other projects like her correspondent duties at The Insider and Entertainment Tonight.Season 7 champion Brooke Burke replaced Harris as co-host in the spring 2010 season.
Acting work
Her acting credits include Eric Idle Exploits Monty Python, D3: The Mighty Ducks, Drop Dead Gorgeous (non speaking) Surviving Gilligan's Island, Reefer Madness!, The New "Hit" Musical (original cast), Beautiful, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and others. Also on Palmer's cocoa butter commercial.
Samantha made her Broadway debut in 2009 as Roxie Hart in Chicago. She performed a six-week engagement in the long-running musical from July 7 through August 16 at the Ambassador Theatre. After her Broadway run, Harris played Roxie in the Greenville, SC, engagement of the national tour, August 18–23, at the Peace Center.

Harris has modeled as a three-time cover girl for Muscle & Fitness: HERS, and for FHM,SELF and SHAPE magazines, as well as various ads and commercials. She is also featured in the December 2006 issue of FHM magazine.

Fox has been involved with actor Brian Austin Green since 2004, having first met on the set of Hope & Faith when she was 18 and he was 30. In 2006 they became engaged, and then broke it off in February 2009. They were engaged again in June 2010, and just a few weeks later, on June 24, 2010, the two wed in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii. Green appeared in the SNL Digital Short "Megan's Roommate" in the Season 35 premiere episode of Saturday Night Live, which Fox hosted.

Fox is good friends with Jennifer Blanc, Kellan Rhude, Jennifer's Body co-star Amanda Seyfried, Michael Biehn and Transformers co-star Shia LaBeouf. She is a fan of comic books, anime, and video games. Fox's favorite artist is Michael Turner whose Fathom comic she describes as a longtime obsession. Fox has two dogs, including a Pomeranian named after Sex Pistols bassist Sid Vicious. Fox has also openly stated that she supports the legalization of marijuana, openly admitting to smoking it, and saying that she does not consider it a drug and would be first in line to buy a pack of joints.
In September 2008, Fox alluded to being bisexual; in an interview with GQ magazine, she said that when she was 18 years old she fell in love with and sought to establish a relationship with a female stripper. She used this experience to illustrate her belief that "all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes" and additionally showed interest in Olivia Wilde. Fox has a fear of flying; she said she developed this about the time she turned 20. Britney Jean Spears born December 2, 1981 is an American recording artist and entertainer. Born in McComb, Mississippi and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, Spears began performing as a child, landing acting roles in stage productions and television shows. She signed with Jive Records in 1997 and released her debut album ...Baby One More Time in 1999. Biography
1981–97: Early life and career beginnings
Britney Jean Spears was born on December 2, 1981, the second child of Lynne Irene (née Bridges) and James Parnell Spears. She is of English heritage through her maternal grandmother, who was born in London, and of distant Maltese descent. Her siblings are Bryan James and Jamie Lynn. At age three, she started to attend dance lessons in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana, and was selected to perform a solo at the annual recital. During her childhood, she also attended gymnastics and voice lessons, and won many state-level competitions and children's talent shows. Spears made her local stage debut at age five, singing "What Child Is This?" at her kindergarten graduation. She said about her ambition as a child, "I was in my own world, [...] I found out what I'm supposed to do at an early age". At age eight, Spears and her mother Lynne traveled to Atlanta for an audition in the 1990s revival of The Mickey Mouse Club. Casting director Matt Cassella rejected her for being too young to join the series at the time, but introduced her to Nancy Carson, a New York City talent agent. Carson was impressed with Spears's vocals and suggested enrolling her at the Professional Performing Arts School; shortly after, Lynne and her daughters moved to a sublet apartment in New York. Spears was hired for her first professional role, as the understudy for the lead role of Tina Denmark in the Off-Broadway musical Ruthless!.
